Sheriff Toulon addresses domestic violence at Brookhaven women’s conference

On October 5, the Town of Brookhaven Office of Women's Services and the Women’s Advisory Board organized their annual Women’s Conference at Brookhaven Town Hall in Farmingville. The event focused on domestic violence, a pressing issue affecting many individuals in the area.

Suffolk County Sheriff Errol D. Toulon, Jr. served as the keynote speaker for the conference. Workshops during the event offered essential information about resources available to victims of domestic violence. Officers from the Suffolk County Sheriff’s office took part in interactive workshops that included expert speakers and self-defense instruction.

The conference was co-sponsored by ECLI-VIBES, LI Against Domestic Violence, Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office, and the Suffolk County Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit.
