This initiative aims to assist unemployed and under-employed women in acquiring professional skills, expediting their job search, and boosting confidence through weekly training sessions, personalized career coaching, and networking opportunities.

The program will take place on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Sachem Library in Holbrook, NY. Sessions are scheduled for October 29, November 12, 19, 26, and December 3, 2024. Interested participants can register online at BrookhavenNY.gov/CareerEdge.

Dress for Success Brookhaven presents this seminar series designed specifically for women seeking employment. The program offers the chance to connect with a network of professional women, businesspeople, and expert speakers. It is tailored to meet the needs of local women ready to advance their careers.

Over five weeks, participants will enhance their knowledge and confidence in securing a job. They will develop personal branding and marketing strategies, learn effective job application techniques, build focused resumes, prepare for interviews, receive one-on-one career coaching, enjoy a Dress for Success professional suiting experience, explore networking tools like LinkedIn, and join a supportive community of women sharing similar journeys.
