Flecker Gallery hosts Jeremiah Teipen's exhibition on digital-physical interplay

The Flecker Gallery at Suffolk County Community College is set to present an exhibition featuring the works of artist Jeremiah Teipen. The exhibition will be held from November 14 to December 17, 2024, showcasing an immersive installation that delves into the relationship between digital and physical worlds.

An opening reception and gallery talk are scheduled for November 14 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. During this event, Teipen will discuss his creative process and inspirations. The event is open to the public with light refreshments provided.

Jeremiah Teipen, a Brooklyn-based visual artist, holds an MFA from the School of Visual Arts and a BFA from Columbus College of Art & Design. His accolades include a production grant from the Asia Culture Center in Gwangju and grants from various cultural organizations in Seoul and Japan.

Teipen's work has been exhibited internationally at venues such as Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, Centro de Arte de Burgos, Queens Museum in New York, Tokyo Geijutsu Daigaku, Gallery Factory in Seoul, and Asia Culture Center in Gwangju. His art has also been featured in publications like Leonardo Journal of Arts and Sciences by The MIT Press and The New York Times.

The Flecker Gallery operates Monday through Thursday from 12:30 to 5:00 p.m., with additional hours available by appointment.
