New Corrections Recruits to Protect and Serve in Suffolk County

Approximately 26 men and four women make up the new class of 30 Suffolk Sheriff’s Office Corrections Officers. A swearing-in ceremony was held, with Sheriff Errol D. Toulon Jr. and fellow officers presiding.

The new recruits are now headed to the Suffolk County Sheriff's Office Academy Bureau to begin their rigorous four-month training program.
