In Honor of That Blessed November Thursday

A very differently written poem of Thanksgiving forms the content of this week’s piece.

In Life’s Rough Waters, Kept Afloat by The Lord

Few are the times

that I

enjoy tranquility

on the sea

of life;

for, often—

I would be

tossed about

by waves

that surely

would cause

me to drown—

were it not

for my lifesaver:

You, Lord

Who keeps me

from going

down!

O, God!

Great is my

gratitude

to Thee!
