Lesiewicz Is a Brick Wall in Goal

One of the best goaltenders on the Island hit a milestone this weekend that few players will ever reach.

Shoreham-Wading River senior goalkeeper Morgan Lesiewicz recorded her 50th career shutout.

Lesiewicz has been the starting varsity goalie for the Wildcats since 8th grade and has led her team to two county championships and one Long Island Championship.

Generally considered the best goaltender in the county, and possibly the Island, she epitomizes dominance inside the net. Coach Gilmore has not only pointed to her outstanding play in net, but he is quick to mention that Lesiewicz is also a team leader with her communication keeping the team together and the other players can look at all the hard work she puts into the team.
