Stony Brook Basketball's Tyler Stephenson-Moore is going pro. Moore was signed to play overseas in Germany for the Phoenix Hagen.

Stephenson-Moore began his career on Long Island and won the 2019 AA New York Federation Championship at Long Island Lutheran, was named to the 2019 All-Long Island Team and was MVP of the LuHi Postseason Invitational.

The Jamaica-Queens native made the America East Honor Roll as a freshman for Stony Brook. He then went on to make the All-CAA Third Team as a senior while averaging 14.3 points per game. That scoring led the team and ranked 10th in the CAA. His endurance was on full display that season, where he ranked fifth in the NCAA and first in the conference in minutes per game. He also was a coach's dream doing all the little things right. He ranked second in the CAA in free-throw percentage and is ninth in program history for career free-throw percentage.

As a graduate student, he made the All-CAA Second Team, the NABC All-District Second Team, the All-Met Third Team and topped it off with a CAA All-Tournament Team nod. Stephenson-Moore led the team in scoring average, field goals made, free throws made, three-point field goals made, three-point percentage, free-throw percentage, and once again minutes played. He also dominated the conference again finishing first in the CAA in three-point-field-goal percentage, fourth in free-throw percentage, fifth in minutes/game, sixth in 3FG/game and 8th in scoring average and field-goal percentage. He ended his career with most games played (140) in program history.

He now heads to Germany. The Phoenix Hagen is a German professional basketball team in Hagen, Germany, that was established in 2004. They play in the ProA, which is Germany's second division of professional basketball.
