Ever since his days at Sayville High School, Dominic LaFroscia has been a star and his star has continued to rise with this season's performance. The 2021 Sayville graduate had an absolutely incredible year for Suffolk Community College.

LaFroscia was named the Region XV Player of the Year after putting up a .408/.502/.669 slash line for the Sharks. He also scored 65 runs, had 62 RBI and 6 home runs this past season. The numbers don't stop there. In just 51 games played, he had 69 hits and 24 doubles, but he was also patient at the plate and was able to take 29 walks. Once he got on base, he was a problem for the opposing catchers as well with 28 steals in just 31 attempts.

Not only did LaFroscia win Player of the Year, but he also was named first team All-Region and he made the All-Tournament team. LaFroscia doesn't seem to have any holes in his game because he was able to secure a Gold Glove award on top of all of that as he led the Sharks to a 20-5 conference record.
