The Long Island Ducks are still under .500, but their recent 6-4 run has them looking to get over the even mark soon. This week newly signed Frank Schwindel led the team and won their Player of the Week.

Schwindel led the team in batting average, with an incredible .500 avg, on base percentage, which was .577 and he also had the most hits of the week with 11. On the season, the former big leaguer's .360 average is good for 5th best in the Atlantic League and just a mere 5 points off the 2nd place mark. He also ranks inside the top ten in runs scored, home runs, RBI and he is top five in hits.

Along with Schwindel, winning Player of the Week, Justin Alintoff won Pitcher of the Week for the Ducks. Alintoff went five scoreless innings, allowing no walks while striking out three.
