Linda Loftus, a resident of Rocky Point in Council District 2, recently visited Town Hall to collect her prize as one of the six winners of the Town of Brookhaven's "Brookhaven Recycles Day" Compost Tumbler Giveaway. The event was part of an online contest held on Facebook, where participants pledged to recycle for a chance to win. Each Town Council District had one winner selected.

Loftus was joined by Councilwoman Jane Bonner and Recycling Educator Zachary Sicardi during her visit. The initiative aimed to encourage recycling practices among residents.
