Smithtown Fire Department mourns loss of long-serving member

The Smithtown Fire Department has announced the passing of William Snak Jr., who served with Engine Company 1 for 17 years. The department expressed deep regret over his death.

Funeral services will be held at the Branch Funeral Home, located at 190 E. Main St, Smithtown, NY 11787. Viewing times are scheduled for Monday from 2pm to 4pm and again from 7pm to 9pm. A Firematic Service is set for Monday at 8pm, with members asked to assemble at headquarters in Class A uniform by 7:30pm.

The funeral will take place on Tuesday at 10:30am at St. Joseph's Church, situated at 59 Church Street, Kings Park.
