Shed fire on Plymouth Blvd quickly contained by Smithtown volunteers

Smithtown's Volunteer Fire Department responded to a reported house fire on Plymouth Blvd last Thursday. Upon arrival, Assistant Chief Kelly identified that the fire was confined to a shed at the rear of the property. He instructed Engine 5 to deploy a hose line to the backyard.

The firefighting team efficiently extinguished the blaze with assistance from Engine 3, Engine 4, and Ladder 7. The operation was under the command of Chief of Department Diecidue. The department extended their gratitude to Joe Sperber for providing photographs of the incident.
