Pat-Med Shines As Track Champions

Patchogue-Medford High School took home multiple wins at the Suffolk high school indoor track and field championships. 

The championship was held at Suffolk County Community College last week. Among the impressive performances were junior Evan Fraser winning the boys 300-meter dash. Last year as a sophomore, Fraser set the school record for the 300-meter dash at the Section XI Large School Championships.

He also holds the Pat-Med Track record with 36.84 second time.

Fraser, Brody Sorensen, Jayden Stroman, and Ryan Lazaridis all took home first place in the boys 4x200-meter relay.At the Millrose Games trials they finished in 9th place.

The district put out a social media statement saying "Congratulations to the team and coaching staff, led by Coach Steve Cole, on their remarkable accomplishments".
