Mason Mangialino has broken the win record for Comsewogue wrestling.

Mangialino earned win No. 169 this season, beating the old school record.

He's been adding to the total since and has more to go at the league and potentially county tournament.

He was on this path very early in his career when experts could envision this record falling.

In February, 2023 he notched his 97th win and not long after got to the milestone win #100.

That season he completed back to back league champion status.

That is when you could see the sort of career he was already carving out for himself and the school.

Mangialino has earned multiple All-State honors and is now a 4 time league champion.

This fall he announced where he will be wrestling next season when he wrote on Instagram "I’m proud to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career wrestling division 1 at Bloomsburg University. I would like to thank all my coaches, family, and friends on getting me to this point. Can’t wait for the next chapter!"
