The Saint Jude Council 5814 Knights of Columbus has announced that Brookhaven Town Councilwoman Jane Bonner will be honored at their 2025 Golf Outing. This event is scheduled for Tuesday, July 15, at the Middle Island Country Club in New York. The outing will begin with arrival at 7:00 am and tee time set for 8:00 am, followed by a reception at 1:00 pm. A portion of the proceeds from the event will support Hope House Ministries and other charities backed by the Knights.

Councilwoman Bonner, recognized as the first female honoree of this event, is known for her dedication to Brookhaven Town communities and aligns her charitable efforts with Hope House Ministries. "It is an incredible honor to be recognized by the Knights of Columbus, especially as their first female honoree," she stated. She expressed pride in choosing Hope House Ministries as her charity of choice due to Father Frank Pizzarelli's impactful work.

Father Frank Pizzarelli and Attorney Charlie Russo from Hope House Ministries expressed appreciation for Bonner’s support. “The support from Councilwoman Bonner and that of the Knights of Columbus is invaluable to our mission,” said Father Frank.

The event is being organized under the leadership of Grand Knight Doug Bauer and Deputy Grand Knight Bill Signoretti along with the 2025 Golf Committee. Grand Knight Bauer remarked on this occasion as historic for recognizing Councilwoman Bonner's contributions.

The Knights of Columbus, established in 1882, are committed to charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism globally. Meanwhile, Hope House Ministries focuses on providing aid to individuals facing challenges such as homelessness and addiction.
