Stony Brook hosts two art exhibitions showcasing emerging artists

Zuccaire Gallery at the Staller Center | Stony Brook University

The Zuccaire Gallery at the Staller Center is hosting Stony Brook's annual exhibition showcasing the work of senior art majors, minors, and digital art minors. The Senior Show, which will run until May 23, features a diverse range of artworks, including paintings, sculptures, ceramics, prints, photographs, digital media, mixed-media installations, and works on paper from this year's graduating class.

Additionally, the URECA Art Exhibition highlights exceptional artwork by Stony Brook University undergraduate students. These works have been selected by the Department of Art's studio art faculty. Supported by the Undergraduate Research & Creative Activities (URECA) and part of the Shirley Strum Kenny Student Arts Festival, this exhibition will be on display until May 8. It includes juried awards and distinctions, presented by the Division of Student Affairs and Gallery North.

There will be a reception for both the Senior Show and the URECA Art Exhibition on Thursday, April 24, from 4:30 pm to 6 pm.
