The Suffolk County Republican Party is mounting a full-scale Election Day operation Tuesday, with hundreds of volunteers set to rally under the leadership of County Executive Ed Romaine and District Attorney Ray Tierney.

Party Chairman Jesse Garcia said the effort, dubbed the “Hunt for Republican November,” represents the culmination of nearly a year of planning and coordination across Suffolk’s ten towns. “This is what teamwork looks like,” Garcia said. “We’ve built a disciplined, countywide machine focused on electing more Republicans for a safer, more affordable Suffolk.”

Local leaders, including Legislator Stephanie Bontempi of the 18th District and former Huntington Town Supervisor Chad Lupinacci, are expected to join the operation in Huntington. Lupinacci is running to flip the 16th Legislative District, where Republicans are targeting one of several competitive seats in this year’s elections.

The Election Day push will be headquartered in Dix Hills, with volunteers mobilizing from staging areas across the county for more than 30 hours of nonstop campaign activity. Party officials said the initiative is designed to keep Republican enthusiasm high and voter outreach strong through the close of polls.

Romaine and Tierney, who headline the GOP’s 2025 ticket, have centered their campaigns on issues of public safety, affordability, and fiscal discipline, themes the party has emphasized as key to recent Republican gains in the region.

After polls close, Garcia, Romaine, Tierney, and other party officials will gather at Stereo Garden in Patchogue to monitor results and address supporters.
