Brookhaven expands online access to over 20 years of property tax records

Residents of Brookhaven can now access more than twenty years of property tax records online, following a new service launched by the Town’s Office of the Receiver of Taxes. Previously, only current tax statements were available through the town’s website.

The updated portal allows users to securely view, download, and print both current and historical tax bills, payment receipts, and account histories. This expanded feature is intended to improve transparency and make it easier for homeowners, businesses, and professionals to manage their tax information remotely.

“We’re always looking for ways to make government services more accessible and user-friendly,” said Louis Marcoccia, Receiver of Taxes for the Town of Brookhaven. “By offering multi-year online access to tax records, we’re helping residents save time and providing a valuable tool for recordkeeping and financial planning.”

The online system is available at all times via www.BrookhavenNY.gov. Residents can search their records using their property address, item number, or tax map number. The site also includes secure options for paying current bills electronically.

For further assistance or questions about the new service, residents are encouraged to contact the Office of the Receiver of Taxes by phone or email.
