Tangier Smith Elementary welcomes students with Elf on the Shelf tradition

Principal Dominic Ciliotta and assistant principal Jackie Cabrera at Tangier Smith Elementary School marked the start of December by dressing in "Elf on the Shelf" costumes to greet students returning to school on Monday, December 1. The administrators plan to make additional surprise appearances throughout the month.

The event was supported by the Mastic Beach Fire Department, which provided a fire truck for the occasion.
