Suffolk County Community College announces visual art faculty exhibition

The Flecker Gallery, located in the Southampton Building on the Ammerman Campus of Suffolk County Community College in Selden, will present the 2024 Visual Art Faculty Exhibition from September 26 through October 28, 2024.

This comprehensive exhibit of Suffolk County Community College’s faculty achievements will commence with an opening reception on Thursday, September 26 from 3 - 4 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

The exhibition will feature work by Jim Byrne, Melissa Capasso, Samantha Dominik, Mathew Neil Gehring, Roxanne Jackson, Ellie Kahana, Alicia Mack, Robert McDonald, Brianna McQuade, Jason Mitcham, Puneeta Mittal, Justin Mullady, Joshua Olsen, Jeffery Allen Price, Kate Rocks, Carrie Rubenstein, Kevin Teare, Nino Tsiklauri and Marlena Urban.

LaFontaine Heads to the Isles Hall

Pat LaFontaine’s plaque has officially been added to the Islanders Hall of Fame wall, placing him among some of the most legendary figures in franchise history. The former star forward was inducted into the Ring of Honor at UBS Arena, becoming the 17th member to receive the prestigious distinction.
