Brookhaven Science Associates awards 2024 scholarships to 20 students

Susan Mc Keon Associate Laboratory Director | Brookhaven National Laboratory

Brookhaven Science Associates (BSA), which manages Brookhaven Lab for the U.S. Department of Energy through a partnership between Battelle and Stony Brook University, has announced the recipients of its 2024 BSA Scholarship. This year, 20 high school seniors have been awarded scholarships.

The scholarships are available to children of employees and retirees at the Lab, continuing a tradition that began in 1965. Each recipient will receive $2,500 annually for up to four years to support their college or university education. Students who enroll full-time at Stony Brook University also receive a matching scholarship from the university.

The BSA Scholarships are administered by International Scholarship and Tuition Services (ISTS). Winners are chosen by an independent scholarship committee reporting to ISTS.

Information on applying for the next round of scholarships for fall 2025 will be released in early December.
