Amid the bustling holiday season, Tanger Riverhead has expanded its retail lineup with three new “shoptions,” offering outlet-goers fresh experiences and an extra dose of local flavor.

Baseball Lifestyle, Loide & Co., and Krafty Hands have each opened substantial storefronts at the popular shopping destination, signaling continued growth and diversification as the year winds down.

Baseball Lifestyle 101 has grown rapidly since its founding by Josh Shapiro and Bill Rom. The sports-apparel company, headquartered in Farmingdale, serves as the next chapter for Shapiro, the ex-athlete having played second base for Farmingdale State College’s Division III Rams.

Today, the brand is recognized for its comfortable, functional clothing designed not only for athletes, but also for their families and supporters. Its strong digital presence—boasting one million social-media followers, and counting—has helped propel the company from a niche startup to a brand name recognized far beyond the greater region.

Shoppers will also find sizable new spaces for Loide & Co. and Krafty Hands, each opening storefronts exceeding 2,200 square feet compared to Baseball Lifestyle 101’s 1,500 square feet facility.

Loide & Co. wields wondrous, hand-poured candles, applying its “all-natural” commitments to each batch, while Krafty Hands offers an interactive creative hub. The business specializes in hands-on birthday parties, workshops, and private events for kids and adults.

Tanger officials say the mix of new tenants reflects the outlet’s commitment to evolving alongside community interests.

In a statement, Tanger Riverhead marketing director Lesley Anthony emphasized the significance of these additions during one of the year’s busiest shopping periods.

“Tanger Riverhead is proud to welcome the latest trending brands and locally-owned concepts that add both variety and personality to our shopper experience,” she said.

“From sport-inspired apparel and cozy boutique decor to interactive events, these new offerings give guests even more options to shop and explore while celebrating the season with us.”
