Walk of Heroes Across the Center Moriches School District

Walk of Heroes | Center Moriches School District

The Center Moriches School District held its annual Walk of Heroes, inviting veterans to be honored by students and staff. High school and middle school students first lined the halls of their building, waving American flags as the veterans and their family members proudly marched through.

The walk then made its way to Clayton Huey Elementary School, ending with a breakfast for guests. In addition to participating in

the parade and showing off their patriotism, students also learned about Veterans Day through lessons and activities in the classroom.
