Miller Place beat their rival Mount Sinai this weekend 31-21 to spoil their homecoming festivities.

Braeden Murphy led the offensive attack rushing for two late TDs and he paced the defense with 15 tackles. QB Shane Kiernan went to the air for over 200 yards and he added a rushing score of his own to secure the win for Miller Place.

Port Jefferson transfer Ryan Filippi came to Mount Sinai with high expectations. The lacrosse standout was known for his speed and elusiveness and has wasted no time early in the season making an impact with this club. On Saturday, Filippi caught a TD, rushed for another score and even passed for a TD in their loss against Miller Place.
