Back to Back for Half Hollow Hills

Half Hollow Hills has won the 2024 Division 1 county Championship. The win gives Half Hollow back to back women's flag football championships after they captured the title last season.

Hills were led by their dynamic quarterback Samantha Heyman. Heyman, who is just a sophomore has made a statement this season and ended it with an exclamation point in the final game of the season. Heyman ended the day 16-for-19 with three touchdown passes, and as a dual threat QB she added 66 rushing yards to her stat line. Oh, and yes she does play on both sides of the ball and had two picks.

Half Hollow Hills was the #1 overall seed coming in and most thought they were the most complete team and that is exactly what they showed in a 19-6 final over third ranked Patchogue Medford. Next up for the team will be the Long Island Championship.
