Ward Melville improved to 2-0 following an 18 point victory over Sachem North over the weekend.

Leading the charge for the Patriots was Luke Chitkara who had 18 points in this contest.

Jackson Weber joined in the fun as he added 17 points while Devin Lynch had 16 points and 8 rebounds.

Brayden Tappin had 15 points for Sachem North who now falls to 1-2 on the year.

Patchogue-Medford 62, Connetquot 60:

The Red Raiders of Patchogue-Medford won a thriller over the T-Birds as Isaiah Gilliam hit a corner two-point jumper at the buzzer to win the game and push Pat-Med to 2-1 on the year.

Angel Redding had a game-high 22 points and Matt Eichorn had 14 points, seven assists and five rebounds in the win for the Red Raiders.

Smithtown West 64, Half Hollow Hills East 56:​

Brothers Lorenzo Rappa and Ben Rappa lead the charge for the Bulls on Monday as they improve to 3-0 on the season in a 64-56 victory over Hills East.

Ben Rappa had 15 points with three three-pointers while Lorenzo Rappa had 17 points and six assists.

Football Star Jack Melore has 18 points and six rebounds for the Bulls.

Smithtown East 81, Eastport-South Manor 67:

Long Island’s Preseason top 100 Basketball Player Ben Haug scored 24 points to lead Smithtown East over Eastport-South Manor in a non-league matchup.

Helping Huag was Nico Skartsiaris — who added 21 points — and James Burton who had 20 points.

Despite losing to the Bulls, Eastport-South Manor brothers Drew and Brady McGowan had 30 and 27 points respectively for the Sharks.

Miller Place 62, Shoreham-Wading River 50:

Dylan Riegel scored all of his 14 points in the second quarter to spark a Miller Place run that gave them the lead going into half over Shoreham-Wading River.

For Miller Place, Joe Strickland had 14 points, six assists and three steals. Nick Frusco had 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Max Julian led Shoreham-Wading River with 14 points as they drop to 1-3 while Miller Place improves to 4-0.
