Cops Kick the Soccer Ball With Kids for a Good Cause


"Turkey Bowl" collected items for Lighthouse Mission | SCPD

SCPD's Community Relations Bureau Sgt. Joseph Steigele and Officer Anthony Guzzone, as well as members of PAL, attended this year's Turkey Bowl, a charity soccer tournament during which teams collected approximately 850 food items for Lighthouse Mission.

Lighthouse Mission works to feed the hungry and assist the homeless, empowering individuals to overcome poverty and lead purpose-filled lives.

The donations were collected by players ranging in age from eight to ten from 12 teams, including four PAL soccer teams.
