Brookhaven Town Clerk Tosses Hat Into the Ring to Run for Re-Election

It's official. Kevin J. LaValle is running to serve a full term as Brookhaven Town Clerk.

The incumbent Republican kicked off his 2025 reelection campaign at the Rocky Point VFW Post 6249.

“As Town Clerk, my top priority has been to safeguard our residents’ sensitive information. I have worked to modernize and streamline processes, so residents can securely access their records while also launching a multimedia campaign and mobile office hours to increase accessibility and transparency of Town Clerk services.  I will continue to make Brookhaven Town safer and more transparent for all residents,” said LaValle.

LaValle, the sitting Brookhaven Town Clerk and former Town Councilman, outlined his accomplishments as Town Clerk, which include protecting residents’ personal data, ensuring easy access to vital services, and making the Clerk’s office more transparent for Brookhaven residents.

LaValle was elected to the Town Clerk’s office in a special election on January 17th, 2023.  Before that, LaValle served taxpayers of the Third Council District in Brookhaven for nine years.
