Brookhaven councilwoman brings town hall meetings directly to residents

Karen Dunne Kesnig Councilwoman District 6 | Town of Brookhaven

Brookhaven Councilwoman Karen Dunne Kesnig is set to host in-district office hours at the Moriches Bay Recreation Center in Center Moriches on Tuesday, March 18th. This marks the beginning of her initiative to bring Town Hall directly to the community.

“I understand that people keep very busy schedules between work and their homelife and realize that it isn’t always easy to get everything on our lists accomplished,” stated Councilwoman Dunne Kesnig. “I hope that constituents will take advantage of this opportunity to meet one-on-one at a more convenient location within Council District 6 to ask questions or to discuss issues of concern.”

The office hours are scheduled from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Residents can either call Councilwoman Dunne Kesnig’s office at 631-451-6502 to book a specific time or visit the recreation center without an appointment. The Moriches Bay Recreation Center is situated at 313 Frowein Road in Center Moriches.
