William Floyd Counseling Center hosts annual college fair & career expo

The William Floyd Counseling Center is set to host its annual "College Fair & Career Expo" on Thursday, April 3. The event will take place from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm in the high school gymnasium and is open to all families within the district, catering to students from kindergarten through twelfth grade.

Attendees will have the chance to engage with representatives from a variety of colleges, universities, and trade schools. This interaction aims to provide insights into what each institution offers. Additionally, several workshops will be available for participants. These include sessions on topics such as the college search process, college admissions process, NCAA and athletic scholarships, historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), financial aid information, among others.

"This is a free, fun and interactive evening for everyone!" stated an announcement regarding the event. Families are encouraged to mark their calendars for this informative occasion designed to assist in future planning.
