The musical "Guys and Dolls," featuring music and lyrics by Frank Loesser with a script by Swerling & Burrows, first premiered on Broadway in November 1950. It enjoyed a successful run of 1,200 performances and won the Tony Award for Best Musical.

Described as an exploration of human nature set against New York City's vibrant backdrop, "Guys and Dolls" features a cast of gamblers, showgirls, devouts, and lovers. The story delves into themes of desire versus responsibility.
