William Floyd High School Theater Arts presents 'Guys and Dolls' this March

William Floyd High School Theater Arts is set to stage its spring musical production, "Guys and Dolls," for three performances at the end of March. The shows are scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 6:30 pm, with two additional performances on Saturday, March 29 at 1 pm and again at 6:30 pm.

Tickets are priced at $15 for adults and $12 for students aged five through 18. Senior citizens over the age of 65 and children under five can attend for $10. Notably, the matinee performance on Saturday will be free of charge for senior citizens and young children.

The musical "Guys and Dolls," featuring music and lyrics by Frank Loesser with a script by Swerling & Burrows, first premiered on Broadway in November 1950. It enjoyed a successful run of 1,200 performances and won the Tony Award for Best Musical.

Described as an exploration of human nature set against New York City's vibrant backdrop, "Guys and Dolls" features a cast of gamblers, showgirls, devouts, and lovers. The story delves into themes of desire versus responsibility.

Tickets can be purchased in advance online or via QR codes available at the door. Cash payments will also be accepted.
