On March 13, Brookhaven Town Clerk Kevin LaValle visited the Bayport-Blue Point Public Library as part of his 2025 Mobile Office tour. The library is located at 186 Middle Road in Blue Point. This initiative allows residents to meet with the Town Clerk, ask questions, and receive information about Brookhaven's services. While permits and certificates are not issued during these mobile hours due to privacy laws, Clerk LaValle can help initiate the process.

The Clerk’s office provides various services such as Birth, Marriage and Death Certificates, Parking Permits for Persons with Disabilities, Amusement Permits, and Special Event Permits. For more details on the library visit www.bayportbluepointlibrary.org.

The next scheduled stop for the Mobile Office Library Tour is at the Brookhaven Public Library on April 8 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Further information about the Town Clerk’s office can be found at www.BrookhavenNY.gov or by contacting [email protected] or calling 631-451-9101.

Town Clerk LaValle expressed his appreciation for hosting mobile hours across different libraries in town. He stated, “It’s always a pleasure to host mobile hours at the various libraries across the town. Each library has its own unique character, offering a special atmosphere that reflects the community it serves. These visits allow me to connect with residents, address their needs, and bring our services directly to them. I truly value the opportunity to engage with the diverse groups that make up our town, and I’m proud to partner with these incredible libraries to make our resources more accessible to everyone."
