William Floyd school community hosts K-12 STEAM symposium

The William Floyd school community is invited to the K-12 STEAM Symposium on Thursday, April 10, from 6 pm to 8 pm at the William Floyd High School west gym. The event will feature interactive presentations in Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). Attendees can view student projects, explore local resources and family programs, and celebrate students' accomplishments.

Artwork by students will be showcased at the event. "STEAM POWERED" by Maria Guzman, a junior at William Floyd High School, and "STEAM" by Sophie Nacchio, a fourth grader at Nathaniel Woodhull Elementary School, are among the featured pieces.
