TLaw Is Money In The Bank

With that said quarterbacks are one of the safer positions to project upside and health with. That leads us to an underrated asset this season in Trevor Lawrence. TLaw walked into the league with as much hype as any prospect not named Andrew Luck or John Elway. Lawrence's shine faded quickly after his disastrous coach led him to a first year mess, and naysayers are still loud after last season, but that is a good thing for finding value.

A Duck Goes Streaking

That is how you break a record in style. With that home run Bradley now is the franchise leader with a 26 game hitting streak. He needed that home run early because although he reached base three times on the night, that would be his only hit to continue the streak.

Move Over Joe ... Biden Is Not The Favorite

Kamala Harris has closed the gap and now is the overwhelming favorite to win the Democratic nomination. Harris has watched her numbers skyrocket since before the first presidential debate this year. Immediately following the debate Joe Biden's numbers tumbled and there were a slew of names that were his likely successors, but Harris was not leading the field. After the attempted assasination and multiple Biden blunders she has steadily become the favorite. Before the Republican National Convention both Biden and Harris were very close with Harris about even money. Since it was announced that Joe had Covid that propelled Harris into the driver's seat and she now sits at just under 2 to 1 to win the nomination.

Who's To Blame?

Boone has caught much of the heat, and he is an easy target. Just in the past month the boys in pinstripes have nonchalantly fielded a ball in center field that looked as though he didn't want to be there, routinely jogged out hits and even got caught jogging home, causing a run to not score. Aaron Boone defends these actions and the fans are fed up with the skipper, who in their own words will say has been a failure for not delivering another World Series ring.

Dylan Laube Carving Out A Role

Laube was selected by Raiders with the No. 208 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and he immediately became in play as their pass catching running back this season. The Long Island native led the FCS in all-purpose yards in 2022 and 2023, and his #1 strength according to scouts was his pass catching ability out of the backfield. The Raiders moved on from Josh Jacobs in the offseason and now will rely on mostly unproven backs to carry the load. White will be the primary ball carrier but the coaching staff has shown a desire to use different offensive sets, which at times require a pass catching specialist to get onto the field. Enter Dylan Laube.

Shedrick tore apart Port Jefferson and Babylon in back to back games scoring 19 and 23 points and then had his best game of the season against Shoreham-Wading River when he pumped in 24 points.

Can We Make Money On Sleepy Joe?

The first 2024 presidential debate was held last week and immediately following the conclusion markets around the world watched the lines shift because of the current US president's performance. Joe Biden, was by all accounts, a complete and utter disaster on the world stage. The Biden performance, of losing his train of thought and general uneasiness watching him fumble through the questions, led many political pundits to come to the conclusion that he would be replaced as the Democratic candidate before he even makes it to the election. The book makers however were a step in front of even the pundits.
