Anthony Mullen had 74 rushing yards and a touchdown on three carries. Gavin Cleary caught two passes for 85 yards and a touchdown, and Michael Casey added four receptions for 73 yards. Michael Iberger had a receiving touchdown. Dominick Correnthi rushed for a 56-yard touchdown for Wyandanch (0-4).

Port Jefferson came back from an 18-7 halftime deficit to claim the W. The Royals outscored the Mariners 20-6 in the second half as both the offense and the defense clamped down.

The expectations are always high for the Yankees but this season they seemed even higher with the front office making a huge splash for a generational talent in Juan Soto. As it always seems with the bombers it was World Series or a failed year, and this team looks poised for a championship run.

The win improves St. Joseph's record to 7-7 overall, but an impressive 3-0 in the Skyline. Isabella Juliano was the star of the game with a match-best nine kills while hitting at a .533 clip. Jackie Wolf and Nina Vanderhoof added eight kills each while Katie D'Angelo led the team with 15 digs and Sarah Montefusco added 12.
