Elf characters bring festive cheer to Tangier Smith Elementary School

Kevin Meyer Board Member | William Floyd School District

Since the beginning of December, Tangier Smith Elementary School has been welcoming students with a unique sight. Principal Dominic Ciliotta and Assistant Principal Jackie Cabrera have taken on the roles of "elf on the shelf" characters to greet students each morning.

The two school leaders have been seen in various locations around the school. Their appearances include sitting on the school's sign, engaging in a game of Connect Four, painting with an oversized paint set, sitting on a sled, and even fishing from the roof. These activities are part of their plan to appear in different spots every school day throughout December.

Photos capturing these moments are available for viewing in an album provided by the school.
