William Floyd High School NJROTC excels at annual inspection and wins color guard competition

The William Floyd High School NJROTC recently completed their Annual Military Inspection and Pass-in-Review. This event is crucial for assessing the progress of NJROTC cadets in their military studies. Senior Chief Andrew DiDonato led the unit, with faculty, staff, and members of the Board of Education attending to show support as the cadets demonstrated their skills in marching and drills.

During the inspection, NJROTC Development Area Two Manager Commander Eric Humphreys evaluated the cadets. The team performed well and received commendations for their efforts.

In related news, the NJROTC squad participated in a drill meet at Fordham University earlier this fall. Competing in their first drill meet of the 2024-25 school year, they secured first place in the varsity Color Guard category.
