Moriches Elementary hosts annual holiday rock concert with festive performances

Robert Taiani Vice President | William Floyd School District

Moriches Elementary School recently held its annual Holiday Rock Concert, an event that has become a cherished tradition. The school's music teachers formed a band and performed popular holiday songs on stage for the students.

The concert included two performances. The first was for kindergarten through second-grade students, while the second catered to those in third through fifth grade. Students gathered around the stage, singing and dancing with their teachers to well-loved holiday tunes.

At the end of the concert, special guests Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, the Grinch, and Buddy the Elf made an appearance as artificial snow fell from above.
