Kindergarten students at Nathaniel Woodhull Elementary School recently enjoyed a special event thanks to the efforts of Toys for Tots and a surprise visit from Santa Claus. The initiative was coordinated with the assistance of school principal Dr. Heather Murillo, Student Council advisor Diane Catania, and members of the Nathaniel Woodhull Student Council.

During the event, each kindergarten student selected a toy to take home, courtesy of Toys for Tots. This organization also provided toys for children and families in need during this holiday season. This marks the third consecutive year that Nathaniel Woodhull has partnered with Toys for Tots to bring festive cheer to the community.

Assistant Principal Erica Peralta joined Dr. Murillo in welcoming Santa Claus to the school. "Our school community is deeply grateful for the generosity shown through the Toys for Tots donations," said Dr. Murillo. "Their contributions brought joy and holiday cheer to our students, making this season brighter for many families! It is always such a joy to see the smiles on all of our kindergartners’ faces!"

The school's Student Council also participated in the event, posing for pictures with Santa Claus.
