Stony Brook Medicine is collaborating with the Suffolk Academy of Medicine to organize a Galentine’s Women’s Health Fair. This event aims to provide women in Suffolk County with important health resources and information. The free event will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the Long Island Aquarium in Riverhead, NY.
“Stony Brook Medicine is proud to support the well-being of women in our community and provide them with the resources they need to thrive,” said Carol Gomes, chief executive officer of Stony Brook University Hospital. “Initiatives like this —whether aimed at prevention, education, or care—strengthen the foundation of healthier families and a healthier future.”
Nicole Gerberg, Executive Director of Suffolk Academy of Medicine, expressed enthusiasm about the event. “We are thrilled to bring this resource to the women of our community,” she stated. “Women play a pivotal role in shaping healthy families and communities, and this event is a way to give back and support their well-being.”
The fair welcomes all Suffolk County residents aged 16 years and older. Those interested in attending must RSVP through an online form.
