William Floyd High School's GSA receives $500 grant for scholarships and fundraising

The William Floyd High School Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) has been awarded a $500 mini-grant by the Hauppauge LGBT Network. Club advisors Jackie Searing and Kerry Skadl lead the GSA. Nichole Descalzo, program manager at the LGBT Network, presented the grant to the club members during a recent meeting.

"The GSA plans to use the grant toward scholarships and fundraising efforts," stated Ms. Searing.
