Tasheka Sutton-Young Assistant Vice President for Presidential Initiatives | Stony Brook University

Stony Brook University is marking Women's History Month this March with a series of events and activities under the theme "Moving Forward Together: Women Educating and Inspiring Generations." The university community is encouraged to engage in various educational, social, and cultural programs throughout the month.

The celebration, organized by Diversity, Intercultural and Community Engagement along with the Women's History Month Committee, aims to honor women's achievements while promoting diversity, inclusion, and equity within the university. Women's History Month at Stony Brook has become a tradition that fosters cultural learning and awareness against bias.
