Haugland Group donates trailer to support robotics and technical education

The Haugland Group, LLC has donated a 2024 aluminum trailer to support the William Floyd Robotics and Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. This donation will facilitate the transportation of robots to various competitions and assist CTE and Technology Education initiatives.

The Haugland Group's contribution extends beyond this recent donation. The organization has consistently supported the William Floyd School District by providing vehicles for the automotive program, offering job shadowing opportunities, arranging visits to their headquarters, facilitating networking opportunities, and organizing trips to Citi Field.

William Floyd High School offers eight CTE program academies across different areas of interest along with five CTE pathways in business and technology. These pathways include Accounting, Architecture, Business Management, Engineering, and Microsoft Office Specialist. The academy offerings feature programs such as Automotive Technology, Barbering, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Home Design & Carpentry (including electrical and plumbing), Medical Assisting, Marine & Motorsports as well as Certified Personal Trainer & Nutritionist courses. The aim is to prepare students for careers or further education while equipping them with practical skills for life.

Haugland Group LLC is an infrastructure services company managing entities that deliver a range of energy and civil construction services. Their team possesses extensive experience in engineering, project management, finance development as well as design build methods including EPC and traditional contracting.
