William Floyd High School held its 66th commencement ceremony on June 28, celebrating approximately 800 students who graduated and joined the ranks of the school's alumni. Family and friends gathered to witness the graduates receive their diplomas, while others watched via a livestream.

The event began with Student Government President Olivia Phillips leading the Pledge of Allegiance. The William Floyd High School NJROTC, under Senior Chief Andrew DiDonato, presented the colors. The graduating seniors of the William Floyd High School Chorus performed "The Star-Spangled Banner" under Donia Rivera's direction.

Valedictorian Alice Chen and salutatorian Rachel Chen addressed their peers during the ceremony. Board of Education President April Coppola acknowledged students enlisting in the Armed Forces. Superintendent Kevin M. Coster, Principal Philip Scotto, and Floyd Academy Principal John DeBenedetto also spoke at this milestone event.

The Mastic Beach Fire Department contributed by displaying a large American flag behind the stage.

Congratulations were extended to all graduates and their families, wishing them success in future endeavors.

Photos from the event are available for download in several albums, along with a replay of the livestream and an aerial video clip.
