Stony Brook Southampton Hospital sponsors San Gennaro Feast of the Hamptons to honor first responders

Stony Brook Southampton Hospital will serve as the Lead Gold Sponsor for the San Gennaro Feast of the Hamptons, scheduled for September 13 and 14 at Good Ground Road in Hampton Bays. The hospital’s sponsorship highlights its commitment to honoring frontline workers, including fire department personnel, emergency medical technicians, ambulance corps members, police officers, and other essential first responders.

Emily Mastaler, chief administrative officer at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, stated: “Our frontline heroes are the heart of every community. Their courage, selflessness and tire less dedication inspire us every day. We are honored to support the San Gennaro Festival’s mission of supporting essential community services.”

Attendees can visit the hospital's booth at the festival to meet physicians from Stony Brook Medicine, learn about recent developments at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, and receive free blood pressure screenings.

The festival will also feature Italian food offerings along with various entertainment options such as eating contests for cannoli, pizza, zappole, and meatballs. A fireworks display is scheduled for Saturday night at 8:15 pm.
