Suffolk County Community College announces annual visual art faculty exhibition for fall 2025

Suffolk County Community College will host its Annual Visual Art Faculty Exhibition at the Sagtikos Art Gallery on the Michael J. Grant Campus in Brentwood from September 17 to October 24, 2025. The exhibition showcases works by faculty members across various media, including painting, sculpture, photography, video, digital art, and installation.

A public opening reception is scheduled for Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Room 150 of the Sagtikos Arts and Science Building. Attendees will be offered light refreshments.

According to Suffolk County Community College, "This annual exhibition celebrates the creativity and expertise of Suffolk’s Visual Arts Faculty, featuring a wide range of media including painting, sculpture, photography, video, digital art, and installation. The exhibition provides insight into the practices that inspire faculty in their classrooms and engage the wider community."

The gallery will be open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or by appointment during office hours. Admission is free to all visitors.

Suffolk County Community College is part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system and enrolls over 26,000 students in more than 100 degree and certificate programs. The college has around 145,000 alumni and focuses on preparing students for regional workforce needs through pathways connecting high school education with college studies and career opportunities.
