Stony Brook announces schedule for Wolfstock Homecoming Festival

Alumni, students, faculty, staff, and other members of the Stony Brook University community are invited to participate in Wolfstock, the university’s 44th annual Homecoming festival. The event will take place from October 23 to 26 on campus.

The schedule includes a variety of activities such as music performances, dance events, lectures, and food offerings. A key highlight is the Homecoming football game between the Stony Brook Seawolves and the Towson University Tigers. The game is scheduled for Saturday, October 25 at 3:30 pm at LaValle Stadium. Tickets are available for purchase.

One featured event is “Meet the President: Connecting Past, Present and Future,” where attendees will have an opportunity to meet Andrea Goldsmith, the new president of Stony Brook University. According to organizers: "This special evening is an opportunity to meet and welcome the new president of Stony Brook University, Andrea Goldsmith. Learn about her background and perspective, and share your own Seawolf stories and experiences."

Another significant occasion is the Investiture Ceremony for ten distinguished faculty members who will be formally invested into endowed positions at Stony Brook University.

Other events include the 15th Annual Seawolves Showcase featuring campus performance groups; a reunion celebration for alumni from classes of 1961-1975; Wolfstock Village BBQ with family-friendly activities; and the Wolfie Dash 5K Walk/Run open to all participants with prizes for early finishers.
