William Floyd announces winter concert and art show schedule for December

The William Floyd School District has announced the schedule for its December 2025 winter concerts and art shows. These events will showcase the work of student musicians and artists, with all performances taking place in the William Floyd High School auditorium.

Families and attendees are advised that warm-ups for performers typically begin one hour before each concert's start time. The district encourages early arrival to account for traffic and ensure students are present for warm-ups.

The schedule is as follows:

- December 4: William Paca Middle School I, Part I at 6 p.m. (6th Grade Orchestra, Treble Choir, Band) and Part II at 7:30 p.m. (7th Grade Orchestra, Cambiata Chorus, Chorale, Band).

- December 5: William Floyd Middle School I, Part I at 6 p.m. (6th Grade Orchestra, Cambiata Chorus boys, Treble Chorus, Band) and Part II at 7:30 p.m. (7th Grade Orchestra, Bella Voci Chorus, Band).

- December 8 at 6 p.m.: William Floyd Elementary School.

- December 9 at 6:30 p.m.: William Paca Middle School II (8th Grade Orchestra, Voce Verde Chorus, Band).

- December 10 at 6:30 p.m.: William Floyd High School I.

- December 11 at 6:30 p.m.: William Floyd Middle School II (8th Grade Orchestra, Mixed Chorus, Band).

- December 12 at 6 p.m.: John S. Hobart Elementary School.

- December 15 at 6 p.m.: Moriches Elementary School.

- December 17 at 6 p.m.: Tangier Smith Elementary School.

- December 18 at 6:30 p.m.: William Floyd High School II.

- December 19 at 6 p.m.: Nathaniel Woodhull Elementary School.

The William Floyd Colonials football program had a big night this week earning a host of honors at the annual Suffolk County Football Coaches Association awards dinner held at the Hyatt Regency in Hauppauge.
