Suffolk County Community College hosts fall open house on November 3

Suffolk County Community College will host an open house on Sunday, November 3, from 12 noon to 2 p.m. The event will take place at all three of the college’s campuses in Riverhead, Selden, and Brentwood, as well as its Culinary Arts and Hospitality Center in Riverhead.

Faculty and administrators will be present to provide detailed information about the college's degree and certificate programs. Admissions staff will assist students and parents with questions and the admissions process. Financial aid representatives will offer insights into recent changes to FAFSA and the grants and loan process. Additionally, visitors can learn about various scholarships available for Suffolk students.

Veterans attending the open house can access educational and transitional services information from campus representatives.

“We look forward to welcoming students and their families as they learn about our academic programs and student support services,” said Joanne E. Braxton, Suffolk’s Dean of Enrollment Management. She added, “Visitors will also have the opportunity to tour the campus with student guides who can answer questions."

Suffolk County Community College is part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system and enrolls approximately 21,000 students across its three campuses in Selden, Brentwood, and Riverhead.
