Ahmad Pratama returns to Stony Brook University in new role

Richard L. McCormick Interim President | Stony Brook University

Ahmad Pratama, a man of science, attributes his arrival at Stony Brook University to fate. "Fate brought me here not once, but twice," he says.

In 2014, Ahmad came to Stony Brook as a Fulbright Scholar in the department of Technology and Society within the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Now, he returns as the University Libraries’ data literacies lead and is enthusiastic about being on campus again, believing it to be divine intervention.

For more information about Ahmad, visit the Be Connected website. To recommend a coworker or yourself for this ongoing series, fill out the Meet Your New Colleagues Google Nomination Form or write to BeConnected@stonybrook.edu.
